This learning lab session presents a roadmap of how a major financial institution established an information lifecycle governance (ILG) program for the delivery of effective records management, e-discovery, and archiving services; and how ILG helped it meet its legal and regulatory requirements and reduce risk. The session covers the ILG vision and strategy; a RIM operating model with a global retention schedule; a methodology to support user adoption; and a way to underpin the archiving and data mapping services.
