    Facebook’s News Feed Experiment Did Not Impress Europe

    European privacy regulators are not pleased with Facebook’s news manipulation experiment. The company might be subject to investigation by European data protection groups.

    According to a Time.com article, Facebook altered the news feeds of 689,000 users to show specific emotional expressions. Since Facebook didn’t alert users, the revelations have generated outrage. The company, however, says users give permission for research when they create a Facebook account.
