ARMA Live! is the education conference for those in the information management/information governance professions. Do you want to address your daily on-the-job challenges or are you looking for an opportunity to expand your knowledge base? Either way, you’re in luck! This year, we had the pleasure of working with our Conference Education Management Group co-chairs, Carol Stainbrook of Cohasset & Associates, LLC, and Teresa Drabenstedt of Cuna Mutual, to craft an innovative, diverse, and jam-packed education program!
NEW EDUCATION EXPERIENCE
We’re continuing the evolution of our conference education to create an experiential learning program that meets your unique needs. Choose from the following education session formats:
ARMA Flipped! Sessions
The ARMA Flipped! virtual conference consists of four practical web seminars with live text chat, SMEs, and a virtual exhibit hall with solution providers. Part one of the flipped sessions provides the content instruction in an online virtual conference Tuesday, September 25, which you can attend from your home or office. Part two of the flipped sessions provides hands-on application of the online instruction in a follow-up, face-to-face workshop at the ARMA Live! 2018 conference (requires annual conference registration). You must take part in the online virtual conference if you wish to participate in the ARMA Flipped! onsite workshops at the annual conference.
Anyone with a full conference registration is automatically registered for the ARMA Flipped! virtual conference!
for more information.
Buzz Sessions consist of a moderator and up to three experts who discuss a variety of perspectives on a given topic. Participants also contribute their ideas regarding how to address an issue or react to the information that has been shared in the session.
These labs are designed to provide you in-depth learning and high interactivity where attendees can develop their skills while engaging with peers, all under the direction of experts. These sessions feature case studies and works in progress that introduce attendees to new, dynamic approaches, and the sessions must allow at least 50% of the time for attendee discussion and/or application.
Rapid Fire Sessions
These sessions cover a broad range of subjects and provide short bursts of “meaty” content to attendees.
Pre-Conference Designation Academy Seminars
These are half-day, one-day, or two-day programs taking place in the days before the conference that provide a unique opportunity for in-depth study of the latest topics in specialized fields related to managing and governing information assets. This year we are offering the following courses:

(RIM Core Competency Levels 3 & 4 and IGP DACUM Level)
Finally, choose your Info Program Maturity:

Education for those whose information programs are already established or in the more advanced stages of maturity. The session content will help you advance your programs to forward-thinking levels of maturity. (Information Governance Maturity Model levels 3, 4, & 5)
