COVID-Related Risk-Free Cancellation Registration Policy

Event Cancellation/Postponement/Repurposing by ARMA:

ARMA continues to monitor the rapidly changing situation, and implications, around the impact, and unknowns, of COVID-19 on InfoCon 2020. As we move ahead with planning, including alternative scenarios, ARMA will continue to be guided by CDC guidelines, governmental & health public policy, and safety guidelines. With that in mind, if ARMA must cancel the in-person event due to low registration; public health issues and/or government policy; or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable, ARMA will offer registrants a full refund. Should ARMA create an alternative-model virtual experience, the registration fee will be adjusted down and the event re-priced; registrants will be given the option to support ARMA at the regular level or request a partial refund. Should ARMA postpone the event, ARMA will  transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date, with an option to request a full or partial refund. ARMA is not responsible for reimbursement of any registrant’s expenses incurred related to the cancellation or postponement of an event.

Refund Policy:

Deadline to request a full refund is September 10, 2020. Cancellations received after September 10, 2020 through October 9, 2020 will receive 50% of the paid registration fees. There will be no refund for requests received after October 9, 2020. A $100 administrative fee will apply to full refunds.

Cancellations must be received by the stated cancellation deadline and will be accepted in writing only via email. No-shows for the event will not receive a refund or credit towards ARMA InfoCon 2021.

All refund requests must be made by the registered attendee or credit card holder and include the name of the attendee and/or transaction number. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method used, no later than 30 days after cancellation has been approved.

Substitution Policy:

Substitution of registration is permitted through October 9, 2020 with written consent. Any substitution must be of the same type (that is, Core for Core, Plus for Plus, Member for Member, and Non-Member for Non-Member). The individual submitting the substitution request is responsible for all financial obligations. A $100 administrative fee will apply for each substitution.

Event Cancellation/Postponement by ARMA:

ARMA reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If ARMA cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should ARMA postpone the event, ARMA will  transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date, with an option to request a full or partial refund. ARMA is not responsible for reimbursement of any registrant’s expenses incurred related to the cancellation or postponement of an event.
