ARMA InfoCon 2020 - Update from ARMA Board President & ARMA CEO

As an organization focused on education — and community — we extend our sincere support to our members, industry friends & partners, and colleagues as we navigate the COVID-19 public health crisis. As you know, this is a complicated and continually evolving situation that we (i.e. all ARMA volunteer & staff leaders) continue to monitor closely through government, public health, and association convention & meetings (re)sources.

ARMA chapters and regions postponed or are redesigning their spring and summer events. As for ARMA InfoCon 2020, like most associations with fall conferences, ARMA is moving forward with continued, and alternative scenario, planning. Yesterday, the Detroit The TCF Center notified us that FEMA is repurposing our main event location/their facility into a temporary field hospital, on a month to month basis. They, and we, will know more by the end of May, once there is national reassessment of the situation.

We promise to continue keep you informed. Again, the safety and best interests of our community remain top of mind. We also remind you to access ARMA resources on our website to help you and your organizations through this time — and, as we look forward to the other side.

Please reach out to either of us, or any Board member with questions.

Bill Bradford, President

Mona Buckley, CEO
