A Statement from the ARMA Board

Dear ARMA Members:
Community. It’s a word that we use a lot in ARMA. There are Communities of Interest, of Place, and of Practice, and the ARMA International Community embodies all three. There are also Communities of Values. Though ARMA has not explicitly articulated institutional values to date, the Board is committed to addressing that—with member input and as a priority action item—in the coming weeks. We stand by, and with, our community members who are in pain or who seek support in driving change and action on racism within the organizations and institutions we serve and/or within ARMA. Our chapters can support each of us in our leadership roles within our profession. We are a community of thinkers, problem-solvers, colleagues, and allies. Together, we can impact change.
