Nominate yourself or a qualified peer by January 24.

The ARMA International Board of Directors (BOD) is seeking nominations for an outside director to take office on July 1, when the current outside director’s third and final term ends. Nominations must be submitted no later than January 24.
The ARMA BOD will select a nominee from outside the ARMA membership to offer an “outside” perspective to board discussions. This person will serve a one-year term, with the possibility of up to two additional one-year reappointments, for a maximum of three years of service.

To see the nomination and selection processes, plus timelines and other details, see this document.

In short, those who submit a nominee (themselves or others) must provide contact details and a statement of no more than 200 words describing the reasons the nominee will be an effective outside director.  Candidates will be required to submit a resume and a statement as to why they are interested in serving on the ARMA board. The Outside Director Search Task Force will review all materials and may conduct interviews before recommending a candidate.
