Ryan Zilm, IGP, CRM, CIP, CEDS, MBA, begins his term as BOD president. In this role, Zilm will lead ARMA in supporting the newly adopted vision: To be the driving force that enables organizations to harness the strategic power of information.

Zilm has worked in the information management (IM) profession since 1998 and currently oversees information lifecycle management for U.S.A.A, a Fortune 500 company. Since joining ARMA in 2007, he has served in multiple leadership roles in ARMA chapters across three states. He also was instrumental in developing the Glossary of Records and Information Management Terms, 5th Ed. (ARMA International TR 22-2016), which defines more than 1,000 terms from information governance (IG) disciplines that intersect with IM, including security, privacy, audit, legal, information technology, archives, and business management. Zilm has been a speaker throughout the United States and Canada on a wide range of IM and IG-related topics.

“Information is a critical component of every business in today’s marketplace,” says Zilm. “Now, more than ever, ARMA is a vital resource to provide education and foundational materials to help our current and future members navigate this ever-changing and multifaceted environment. I’m excited to be a part of the ARMA board and to provide these leading networking and educational resources to our members.”

Bill Bradford joins the ARMA International BOD as its president-elect. Bradford serves as the information governance and records specialist at Jagged Peak Energy in the Denver area. He previously served as board president of ARMA’s Mile High Denver Chapter, as well as a region advisor and a region director. He will become president of the ARMA International BOD on July 1, 2019, when the 2019-2020 fiscal year begins.

Outgoing BOD president, Ilona Koti, CRM, PMP, MLS, MS IM, CDIA+, CC, will remain on the BOD as immediate past president. Alongside Koti, returning members include Michael Haley; Jason Stearns, IGP, CRM; John Jablonski, Esq.; Susan Goodman, IGP, CRM, MLS, CIP, CIPP/US, ERMS, FAI; and Mark Levin, CAE, CSP.
