Achievement through Emotional Intelligence Leadership We lead people and accomplish tasks through emotions. Most of our projects involve many departments and groups, and to achieve results, we need to use emotional intelligence, via integrity, communication, and competence, to build trust with all the stakeholders. This presentation will provide guidance on how to achieve results through emotional intelligence leadership.

The presenter, Adam Frumkin, CIO, Franklin County Data Center, is a results-driven leader with more than 20 years of experience in developing, directing and executing business transformation and strategies in alignment with corporate objectives for both public and private sectors. He has an established record collaborating with other executives to bring clarity to strategic business decisions and implementing technology to transform and simplify business processes. He has recruited, developed and retained top talent with a demonstrated ability to effectively lead and work in a matrixed environment; he acted as a change agent with diverse expertise, delivering high-impact projects that produced outstanding business results. He was a CIO for 9.5 years with an Ohio public entity and served on the board of Public Retirement Information Systems Management (PRISM), which consists of CIOs throughout North America and the Virgin Islands. He has focused experience in strategic planning and implementation, cultural organizational development, process reengineering, enterprise system implementations and disaster recovery and business continuity planning. He is also an adjunct professor at The Ohio State University and Ohio Dominican University. He is a member of the MBA Advisory Board for Ohio Dominican and teaches classes that include Business, Technology, Ethics and Project Management.
