Session 6: The Latest in Cloud Computing

Late in 2016, Forrester Research stated that cloud computing is in a ‘hyper growth’ phase which will result in revenues of $236 Billion by 2020. They further suggest that most of the growth will come from existing customers who will be expanding their use of public cloud services and capabilities.

What impact will this have on information governance programs and professionals? Is your organization fully aware of the risks they should mitigate in moving to the cloud? What advantages does cloud computing bring to the governance of information? The September iMasters broadcast will explore the impact this explosion will have on IG professionals and their practices.
