     Class Description:
Anyone can provide you with a Records Management solution, just like anyone can sell you a car. But when you're looking at that car, it's not just about body style and reputation. It's critical what comes with the car and what value you're getting for extras. Does the RM solution you're evaluating or using have a variety of cool and important features that come standard (like auto-categorization), or are they all options that keep the price going up and the value going down? We'll discuss what features you should expect to come with your RM car, and what additional options are useful... and necessary..
    What Is RM-U?
RM-U is a series of Records Management education classes on topics such as the latest news, innovations, best practices, and new technology in Records Management today. The sessions, presented by "Dean of Records Management" Mitch Farbstein, are free, and available online only. Attendees may join the course for one class, all classes, or any number in between. For individuals that cannot attend at the live time, the sessions are recorded and are available to anyone registered for the course.
Classes are scheduled bi-weekly now through April. Each class is different, and registrants can choose to attend all sessions or just select ones you're most interested in.
Registrants do not need to have attended any previous session to attend any future session. As these sessions are interactive and have opportunities for questions and comments, RM-U encourages registrants to attend live. However, as long as attendees are registered for the course, recorded versions of any session will be available for on-demand viewing after each class.
