    Facebook Gets Backlash for New Privacy Policy

    EU data protection officials say Facebook’s new privacy policy is in conflict with EU privacy laws, according to a recent article. In response, they have formed a task force to determine what needs to be done about several aspects of the policy, including Facebook’s tracking people across sites, sharing this data with third parties, and using their personal information for commercial purposes- all without their explicit consent.
