According to a November 7 article on MalayMailOnline.com, 51 foreign ministers who were to attend the annual Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) ministerial conference on November 11 would have a “shared outrage to debate.” Their anger was expected to be directed against the U.S. National Security Agency’s digital surveillance that Europeans were already outraged about and that Asian governments had just recently discovered.
