ARMA International’s 55th Annual Conference & Expo is right around the corner – early registration numbers indicate that it’s shaping up to be one of our most popular conferences yet! It’s gratifying to see that our industry partners, organizations, and professionals place incredible value on the education and training we provide. As many of the members of our ARMA family can attest, the decision for an organization to invest heavily in its information infrastructure will pay dividends in time saved, risk avoided, and improved performance.
In my previous letter, I discussed how our profession is evolving. The 2010 Annual Conference & Expo reflects this continued progress and transformation. This year’s lineup of topics is especially interesting, insightful, and timely; and will prepare you to face the challenges ahead. Outstanding professional growth opportunities, presentations by top thought leaders, a track dedicated to the Generally Accepted Recordkeeping Principles®, an Expo Floor packed with the latest information management products, solutions, and services – all of this and much more under one roof in the heart of San Francisco.
Why are professionals attending the conference? It goes well beyond the quantity and quality of education sessions. Tomorrow’s professional certainly benefits from the sessions listed on the brochure. But in an ever-changing world of information technology, face-to-face networking and the ability to validate your program’s direction within the global information management community is needed now more than ever. Talk to others about how they are making information management a value in their organizations instead of simply a service. Together, we’ll help our profession evolve, capitalizing on all of our successes. I’ll see you in San Francisco!
