Getting Ahead of the eDiscovery Curve: Strategies for Companies & Their Counsel to Reduce Costs & Meet Judicial Expectations

Presented by The Sedona Conference® Institute in association with ARMA International

March 29-30, 2007
Memphis, TN
The Peabody Memphis

The newly amended Federal Rules of Civil Procedure anticipate that all litigants will be able to identify, preserve, review, and disclose relevant electronically stored information quickly and at a cost proportionate to the needs of the case. To effectively accomplish the task, organizations will need to design processes and assemble new teams which leverage diverse players and skill-sets (Legal, IT, Records Management). This two-day program will offer strategies to help facilitate communication within the organization, assemble interdisciplinary teams, and implement a winning litigation response strategy.

From the keynote address by the Hon. Shira Scheindlin, through the interactive demonstrations of team-building and court-mandated discovery conferences with opposing parties, you will take away practical ideas to satisfy your obligations, reduce your costs, and stay ahead of the curve!

*This event is pre-approved for 11.5 ICRM Certification Maintenance Program (CMP) credits. The Sedona Institute conferences earn approximately 7.0-14.50 MCLE credits, depending on the program and jurisdiction.*
