The Legal Information Technology Conference (LIT-Con) is co-located with the 2010 ARMA International Conference & Expo, which is taking place in the heart of downtown San Francisco, at Moscone Center West.

Housing

Hotel reservations are now open and will remain open until October 15, 2010. Reservations for the ARMA housing block may be made as listed below and identifying yourself as an ARMA Conference attendee. You will receive a confirmation from the hotel. Please note, a limited number of government rate rooms will be available at both hotels.

The San Francisco Marriott Marquis, 55 Fourth Street, San Francisco, CA  94103 USA, is the headquarters hotel. The Marriott Marquis Hotel offers modern luxury and the convenience of an extraordinary downtown San Francisco hotel. Just south of Market Street, the Marriott Marquis is next to the Moscone Convention Center West and is just steps away from the Yerba Buena Gardens, renowned museums, cultural attractions, and world-class shopping on Union Square.

Marriott Marquis Reservations:

• $229/night for single and $249/night for double plus 14% tax.

The Wyndham Parc 55 Hotel: 55 Cyril Magnin, San Francisco, CA 94102 USA, is an additional ARMA International hotel. The Parc 55 Union Square Hotel is a luxurious property located just a block from Union Square. Warmly appointed for business and leisure, this downtown San Francisco hotel affords unparalleled access to “everyone's favorite city.” From sightseeing to dining to access to various attractions, this unique location provides effortless convenience to everything this amazing city has to offer. The Parc 55 is close to the Conference location, but ARMA International will also provide shuttle service to the Conference & Expo site.

• A limited number of government rate rooms will be available by calling the number listed.
• All reservation requests will require a credit card guarantee or a one night’s deposit by personal check or money order 14 days after the room is confirmed by the hotel. Deposits will be refunded for rooms cancelled more than 72 hours prior to arrival. Name changes to room reservations may be made up to 14 days prior to arrival at no charge.

Travel

Conference attendees needing travel Visas should visit the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for their country’s specific travel requirements.

Transportation from the San Francisco and Oakland Airports:

The San Francisco airport (SFO) is located 13 miles southeast and the Oakland (OAK) Airport is located 19 miles northwest. Transportation is easily available from both airports:

• Door-to-door vans are available for $16.00-18.00 from SFO, $27.00 from OAK.
• Taxis will run about $40.00 from SFO, $51.00 from OAK.
• BART is a fast, easy, and inexpensive way to get to downtown, close to the Moscone West Center, from SFO and OAK. To reach Moscone West, take BART or MUNI to Powell station. Trains arrive at the SFO International Terminal every 15 minutes and it takes approximately 30 minutes to travel to Powell Street. The travel time on BART from OAK to Powell Street is 23 minutes. A one-way ticket from SFO to downtown is $8.10 and from OAK to downtown is $3.80.
