Chapter Operations e-Handbook

Membership Applications

Below are the current applications and a link to join online.  Please direct potential members to these links.

All applications should be submitted to ARMA International for processing but there are times when they are submitted to a chapter.  Here is the procedure of what to do with the application and funds when this happens:

  1. Send the application and association dues to ARMA International headquarters.
  2. The chapter may keep their portion of the dues and need to note that they have done so.

LINK Applications

The LINC (Linking International Communities) Program is a fantastic way for your chapter or region to participate in ARMA’s international efforts. By sponsoring an international member, you will help further a colleague’s career as well as gain global perspective on RIM issues and trends.

RIM practitioners located outside North America can nominate themselves to have their ARMA membership sponsored for one year. Nominee information will be sent to chapters and regions who have indicated their interest in participating in the program, and the chapter or region will follow up with the nominee it chooses to sponsor.

In exchange, sponsored members agree to write, during the course of their one-year membership, two brief articles about RIM issues in their experience or country that can be published by their sponsor. Full details are available on the ARMA International website.

Contact Member Services if your chapter or region is interested in sponsoring an international candidate by calling 800.422.2762 or sending an e-mail with the subject line “LINC”.
