Regions/Chapters

Regions and chapters are considered subsidiaries of ARMA International.  They are established through a charter issued by ARMA International acknowledging that the local entity is authorized to conduct business and operate under ARMA International’s name. 

 

Regions

There are 11 regions in ARMA International:  Canada, Great Lakes, Great Northwest, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest/Rocky Mountain, Northeast, Pacific, Southeast, Southwest, Europe, and International.  Each Region has a Region Manager, Region Coordinators, and a Treasurer; the Region Manager may appoint additional positions to assist the region.  These individuals serve as liaisons with the chapters in their area to assist with operational and governance issues that may arise.  Click here for Region Team Listing.

 

Chapters

ARMA International supports more than 120 chapters worldwide.  Each chapter is required to have a minimum of four (4) chapter officers: President, Vice President/President-Elect, Secretary, and Treasurer.  Each chapter may establish additional board positions to ensure that the chapter runs effectively.  Additional committees and task forces are utilized to lessen the burden on the chapter board.  Click here for Chapter Listing.
